Terms & Conditions
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Beyond Heathmoor (“the game”), including this website and the game servers. By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. We may close accounts that don't meet this requirement.
2. Your account
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for anything done through your account.
- Give an accurate email address and date of birth when you sign up.
- One person per account. Don't sell, share or transfer accounts or characters.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
3. Playing fairly
Beyond Heathmoor is a shared world, so please play in a way that keeps it fun for everyone. You must not:
- harass, threaten, bully or impersonate other players or staff;
- post hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise offensive content in chat or character names;
- cheat, use bots or scripts to play for you, or exploit bugs instead of reporting them;
- try to access other accounts, attack or overload the servers, or get around bans and mutes;
- trade in-game items or gold for real money;
- share other people's personal information.
Chat is filtered and logged so moderators can investigate reports. Staff may warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, and can remove names or content that break them.
4. Virtual items and progress
Characters, gold, items and other in-game things have no real-world value and are not your property. We give you a licence to use them in the game. We may rebalance, change, reset or remove game content at any time, for example to fix bugs or keep the game fair.
5. Content and intellectual property
The game's software, world, text, artwork and other content belong to Beyond Heathmoor or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute it. Anything you write in the game (chat, character names) remains yours, but you let us store, display and moderate it so the game can work.
6. Availability
The game is provided “as is”, and is still being developed. We don't promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and we may change or stop all or part of it at any time. Progress may occasionally be lost, for example after a server problem.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or in-game progress, arising from your use of the game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Ending your account
You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@example.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the game grows. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and for significant changes we'll let players know in game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.
